One Habbo, One World

Underneath it all, we're made of the same pixels

Over the last 3 years, Habbo SG has expanded. First, we welcomed new Habbos from across the Causeway. Late last year, we opened our arms to Philippine pixels from across the ocean.

But over time, we've noticed that instead of celebrating what makes us unique, Habbos have a tendency to draw boundaries between races and religions. More often than not, this has led to heated exchanges and angry words in Habbo.

But it doesn't matter whether you're dark-skinned or light-skinned; as a Habbo, one day you can have an Afro and green skin, and the next day, you can wear blue hair and pale skin. We change our appearances every day - why would we all want to look the same when we could all be so different?

We need to remember one thing: we're all Habbos. It doesn't matter where you come from or what you believe in, because we all share one game, one hotel.

So what are we going to about it?

In celebration of One World, One Habbo, we're doing a lot of things, like:

- Diverse furni packs. After all, if different coloured furni can get along, why can't Habbos?

- Pop quizzes. Learn more about the various countries that play in Habbo SG/MY/PH, and you might even pick up a prize or two. Just wait for the Hotel Alert to come up - but we won't tell you when.

- Flags for sale. Whether you're declaring your affiliation for one country or you just want a really cool wall, you can pick up your favourite flags at a discount this week.

- Unity March. Join us on 5 March at 1630h and show your support. You don't need to bring anything... except a torch. We'll announce the location via Hotel Alert as soon as we've got everything prepared.

Habbos who participate in the One Habbo, One World activities will get a special badge... but we're not telling you just yet. :)

So this week, we're inviting everyone to join us as we open up and learn about where each other comes from and why being different can be cool. After all, we come from one Habbo, and we belong to one world.
