Turns out that Marcel didn't need the help of a speechwriter. Happily raising his third (or was it fifth?) champagne glass, our favourite French librarian ended up toasting his blushing bride in his native language. Not everyone understood it - it was a small ceremony after all - but Marcel capped his toast with a sweet kiss for the bride. :)
