Can't seem to find that elusive Red Rug in your Inventory? That may be because you have too many things in it right now. Your Inventory only shows the first 3,000 items you have, which means that if you have more than that, it won't be reflected. That doesn't mean that it's lost forever — you just need to put down furni from your Inventory and into a room and refresh your Habbo client screen in order to see the changes.
