Win-Some Wednesday

Loads of loot for this lot of winners!

High in the Sky

One of the best things about being high up is being able to see the world from a different point of view. After traversing the heights of Habbo skyscrapers, we've finally come to the conclusion that a) Kitty is acrophobic, and b) the best skyscraper we've ever climbed is E-E's pixel replica of The Burj Dubai. As the winning design entry, he receives:

- an Industriasl Turbine
- a specially engraved trophy
- 3 months' Habbo Club membership

However, we're also awarding Honourable Mention to the following Habbos and their tall achievements:

josoho's Ecstatic Tower of Pulchritudinous
dasheiz's The Hear of the Great Isle
cullen008's Avia Tower Condominium

Each Habbo will receive a Gold Bar and 1 month's Habbo Club membership.

Take a Shot

We also invited young Habbo scientists to show us what kind of exciting experiments they've conducted at home. Unfortunately, out of all of the submissions, only 2 Habbos managed make it to the very end. They'll each receive a pair of Sci-Fi Teleports and the Science Experiment badge. The winners are:

· mintson18's Mini Density Bottle

Experiment notes:
When the dropper is placed in the water, air bubbles are trapped and so it floats up. This means that the dropper is less dense than the water. But in Figure 2, if you squeeze the sides of the bottle, pressure inside the bottle increase, forcing more water into the dropper and causing the dropper to sink. Upon releasing the bottle, air in the dropper expands and it floats up to the surface once more.

· summerbunny12's Fruits and Oil Experiment

Experiment notes:
Ever wondered what to do with leftover fruit peels? This experiment uses orange, pear and lemon peels to test their capability to absorb oil. The peels are placed in a plate with some oil in the middle (plate on left). Next, after five minutes, I checked to see which peels absorbed the most oil (plate on right). Orange peels absorbed the most oil, followed by lemon peels. Pear peels did not absorb any oil at all.
