Ever had trouble selling or buying used furni in Habbo? You've probably noticed that it's been difficult to find the right item for the right price, and you can bet that most folks are only going to try and scam you out of your hard-earned Credits.
But we come bearing good news! We now have a Beta version of The Marketplace in the Catalogue — a place where you can buy and sell things safely and conveniently.
How do I buy furni from the Marketplace?
· To buy items from the Marketplace, just open your Catalogue and search for the Marketplace listing. You can search for items by price or by name.
· When purchasing an item, you always pay the lowest price someone has used to post items for sale. So for example, you see a Pura Module being sold for 3, 5, or 6 Credits, you'll end up only paying 3 Credits for it, since that's the lowest price for the listed item.
How do I sell furni in the Marketplace?
· In order to be able to sell items on the Marketplace, you need the following:
- a Trading Pass
- a Marketplace Token, which you can purchase at 5 tokens per 1 Credit
· Go to your Inventory, select the item you want to put up for sale, and click on the 'Sell in Marketplace' button.
· You can sell tradeable items that aren't currently being sold in the Catalogue. So if you have a surfeit of Party Lights from your last party and you want to sell them, check first if Neon is being sold. If it's not, then you're in luck! Go ahead and put those items on sale.
· Your item will be shown to other Habbos for 48 hours.
· To find out if your items have been sold, go to the Catalogue and select the 'My Offers' page underneath the Marketplace. All the furni you've been selling will be listed there, and it will also show you if your item has been sold, or if you want to cancel a sale. If your furni has been snapped up, click on the 'Redeem My Credits' button to get your cash.
· You can't post items in the Marketplace if you don't have any Credits in your Purse, even if you still have Marketplace Tokens. This is a glitch, and we're working to fix it as soon as possible.
