Your Say!: Big Bad World

Genre:
Pop/rock

Why Buy?
Plain White T's, the Chicago-based band who brought you the song 'Delilah', is back with their latest album, Big Bad World. The collection is filled with catchy tunes that you can groove to, and you'll find yourself humming along after listening to the songs for the first time. For those of you who play the Rock Band video game, you may have even downloaded their track 'Natural Disaster' and rocked out to it.

One of my favourite tracks on the album is '1 2 3 4', which is a slow acoustic number. While critics may argue that it's very formulaic, for me, it's an incredibly romantic song that uses numbers to confess their love for a special person. Anothe rfavourite track is 'That Girl' - an extremely catchy tune that is excellent to hum along to, and even sing in the shower.

Overall, I'd say this is a job well done for the Plain White T's. This album has a good mix of youthful optimism as well as echoes of their musical roots, especially for the songs 'Sunlight' and 'Rainy Day'. I am completely in love with this album, and can't wait for the next one!
