Hana "Samantha" Gitelman was introduced in a four-part arc of the Heroes graphic novels. She is a third-generation Israeli soldier who is motivated by the deaths of her mother and grandmother, due to a terrorist hijacking, to train and join the army. Kept out of battle by her superiors due to her desire for vengeance, Hana remains in Army Intelligence until Mr. Bennet approaches her. Bennet is instrumental in the manifestation of her superhuman powers and makes her a spy.
Brian Davis was a telekinetic, someone who could moves objects on will. He demonstrates this power by moving a glass from one side of a table to another. He was Sylar's first victim.
Meredith Gordon is the biological mother of Claire Bennet. She exhibits pyrokinetic abilities by lighting a cigarette with her bare hand. Meredith and her 18 month old baby were supposedly killed in a fire (her powers may have caused) 14 years ago.

The Haitian has a powerful ability to erase the memories of others. Little is known about the process of how he erases memories, other than the fact that he initializes by clamping his hand over the face of the intended victim.

Charlene "Charlie" Andrews made her first appearance in the episode Seven Minutes to Midnight. She had the ability Eidetic Memory/Total Recall. She is also one of Sylar's victims.
Matt Parkman is a police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department. He would like to become a detective, but has flunked the test three times due to his dyslexia. Parkman is a mind-reader; he can hear the thoughts of people around him, which he first realizes after hearing the thoughts of Molly Walker, a little girl who was hiding from a serial killer named Sylar. When he found the girl, suspicion of how he knew her location led to his arrest.
Claude is the Invisible Man. His power is to make himself unseen to the normal eye. However, he is detected by Peter Petrelli. Peter, who has seen Claude in his dreams and figures Claude has to train him, asks for his assistance in stopping himself from becoming a bomb. In his dreams, Peter sees Claude as a man on the side of the streets laughing at him.
