All about the Hotel Navigator.

How does the Navigator work?

Beta Habbo

The Navigator has 5 tabs:

· The Events tab gives you a list of events hosted by Habbos.
· The Rooms tab gives you a list of private rooms owned by your Habbo friends.
· The Me tab lists all the rooms you own.
· The Official tab gives you the list of public rooms in the Hotel (e.g. the Lido).
· The Search tab lets you search for rooms using keywords.

To exit a room, click on the Hotel button.

Old Habbo

The Navigator is divided into two sections - Public Spaces and Guest Rooms. Just click 'Go' to be taken to them. You can always click the arrows to go back.

With Guest Rooms, you can now add your room to a Category so if it's a maze (for example) it could go under 'game rooms'. Putting your room in a category is good as it is easier to get it on a popular list. You can change which category it's in at any time.

You can also see which rooms are popular with the new Navigator. If the room is full, the 'go' button is highlighted in red, if it's nearly full the 'go' button is highlighted in yellow, if there's lots of space but some Habbos inside, it's highlighted in green and if there's no-one in there, it's just grey.

If you're just pottering about, pop by our 'Recommended rooms' category. Just click 'Refresh Recommendations' to see the next rooms to check out!

When I look at the list I can only see half of the Public Spaces. Why is that?

Old Habbo

If you can't see all of the Public rooms, you just need to scroll down. Click and have a hunt around!

What do the different categories mean?

You can add your room to any category. There are no set rules but here's a guide for you:

· Chill and Party rooms - Rooms where you go to chill out, have a party, hang out with friends, rest and relax.

· Trading Rooms - For all things trade-tastic! Rooms, shops, stores. Talk about it all day and night - whatever!

· Modelling Rooms - Do up your hair and put on your best outfit, and get your look rated!

· Business Zone - Looking for a Habbo job? This is the place to go.

Of course, it's always a good idea to make sure that your room matches the category you put it in. If it doesn't, you might find that your visitors don't stick around very long!

You can also tag your room with up to 2 tags. E.g. if you specialise in trading rares, you could put your room in the Trading Rooms category and tag it with 'rares'. This makes it easier for Habbos wanting rares to find you.

How do I put my room into one of the categories?

Beta Habbo

Enter the room. Click the room icon, then the 'Room settings' button. Pick the category you want from the dropdown box.

While you're at it, why not tag your room too?

Old Habbo

To choose a category for your room, click 'modify' in the Navigator (in the 'Own rooms' view, click the room you want to modify and then "modify" button) and then pick the category from the drop down list.

When you've done this, everybody can find your room in that category as long as you're in the room. So the more Habbos in your room, the higher on the list your room will be!

What will happen if I don’t put my room into one of the categories?

Nothing! In Old Habbo, you may get a notice every so often that pops up to remind you that your room is not in a category, but that's not a problem. It's up to you to decide if you want to put your room in a category.

What does it mean when it says 'Your room has no category. Select one from the list.'?

It just means you haven't selected a category for your room. You don't have to choose a category for your room - but putting your room in a category can help you make your room popular.

Beta Habbo

Enter the room. Click the room icon, then the 'Room settings' button. Pick the category you want from the dropdown box.

What do the green, yellow and red colours mean?

Beta Habbo

Red - the room is full.
Yellow - the room is filling up quickly.
Green - the room has people in it, but there's plenty of space.
Grey - there's no one in the room.

The number beside the room name tells you how many Habbos are in the room.

Old Habbo

The red, yellow and green highlighting the 'Go' button are indications of how popular the room is.

If the room is full, the 'Go' button is highlighted in red. If it's nearly full the 'Go' button is highlighted in yellow. If there's lots of space but there are Habbos inside, it's highlighted in green. If there's no one there, it's just grey. It's warning you how busy it's going to be before you get in there!

How do I see who's in a room?

Beta Habbo

You can't see who's in a room.

If you're looking for a friend, click the Hotel button to open your Navigator. Click the 'Me' tab, and select 'Where are my friends?'. You'll see a list of the rooms your friends are in. Go visit!

Old Habbo only

You can only see who's in Public Rooms. You can't see who's in Guest Rooms.

Press the Shift key, and click the name of the Public Room. A box will pop up with a list of the Habbos in the room.

Why can't I trade in some rooms?

Some Habbos like trading. Some don't. To respect the choices of both groups, you can only trade in rooms in certain categories.

You can trade in rooms in:
· Trading Rooms
· Modelling Rooms
· Business Zone
· Racing/Strategy Games
