The now-defunct Habbo camera — where, why, how, and other pressing questions answered!
We're afraid not. The criteria were carefully selected to be as fair as possible to Habbos who purchased cameras or film, and we're providing compensation as a goodwill gesture.
Sorry, no. We selected these criteria so that active Habbo accounts receive compensation. Unfortunately, due to the huge number of Habbo accounts created every day, we are unable to extend compensation to every single Habbo account.
We can't promise anything. But if we ever bring the ability to take photos back to Habbo, you'll be the first to know. ;)
Why can't I view my Habbo photos anymore?
The way cameras and photos work in Habbo makes them vulnerable to scripting, and possibly to harmful activities in Habbo. This also applies to viewing photos which were previously taken.
We want Habbo to be as safe as possible to use, and this vulnerability in the camera function doesn't fit into that equation. We hope you understand.
We had to disable the ability to take photos in Habbo, because the way cameras work in Habbo makes them vulnerable to scripting, and possibly to harmful activities in Habbo.

You can use it as a great prop for a film studio, maybe! It's really like any other piece of furni now, and how you use it is up to you and your creative instincts. As for the film, it no longer shows up in your Catalogue.
Unfortunately the camera and film have been taken out of the catalogue due to to possible vulnerabilities and unforeseen technical problems.
Those Habbos who have cameras and unused film will be compensated with Credits. The amount of Credits received will differ from Habbo to Habbo.
No, you do not. You must have at least 1 camera, OR more than 3 film to get the compensation Credits. Owning more than 1 camera doesn't entitle you to more Credits, as the Credits are intended to compensate you for film you can no longer use.
