All about Guest rooms
Click on the disruptive Habbo in your room. Their Info Stand will show a button that says 'Kick & ban'. Click on this to kick the Habbo from the room, and stop them from entering the room for 15 minutes.
You cannot delete your room if it has been set as a Group room. You would have to remove the room from the Group by going to your Group page and select Edit the Group Settings. Click on Room settings tab and tick the box that says "No room".
You can report these by using the Call for Help feature to tell our Moderators. To use the Call for Help function, click the blue question mark at the bottom right of your screen when you are in the hotel.
Nope, sorry, you can't. :) That wouldn't be very fair, would it?
These strange boxes are Furni items that are waiting to load. Loading Furni this way means you wait less time to get into a guest room.
Yes, you are able to link large guest rooms with small guest rooms by using a pair of linking teleporters.
On the hotel navigator, select your room and click “modify”. You can set your room to hold 50 Habbos by using the number menu below “Choose maximum number of visitors”. Remember – big scale rooms can hold 50 visitors and small scale rooms can hold 25.
It depends on the items you place in your room. Some items of furniture take up more sprites than others. For instance, a holo-girl will take up LOTS more sprites than a duck – because a holo-girl is animated and needs more sprites to spin round and look pretty. :) A duck will only take up a few, as he just sits in a corner, sleeping all day long! (and occasionally quacking…) If your room is full and cannot hold any more furniture, you’ll get the following message “This room has the maximum amount of furniture”.
Recommended rooms are chosen using a variety of criteria including the room's rating and the number of users in the room.
No, you can't. However, ratings older than 24 hours are automatically removed. So this means the ratings you see are from the past 1-2 days.
Your room rating is visible only in your Habbo room. You can see your own room's rating when you enter it. You can see another Habbo's room rating by going to their room and clicking the thumbs-up or thumbs-down sign.
Make an amazing room and treat your guests well - that's the only way!
You can have up to 30 favourite rooms.
It is a room where you can Auction off your furni to another player in a safe environment and monitored by a staff-appointed Auctioneer. Official Auction Houses can be found under the Official Rooms category.
To see if there's a session in an official Auction House coming up, check the Event Classifieds page.
An amazing number of 50 Habbos can fit into a large scale guest room. Small scale guest rooms can only accommodate 25 Habbos.
Small scale guest rooms only hold 25 Habbos. Big scale guest rooms hold 50 Habbos.
If your room isn't full and you are still having a problem loading the room, then it could be due to a problem with the Guest room server. If this is the case, then the problem should fix itself fairly quickly.
If after 24 hours you still can't get into your room, you should clear out your temporary Internet files. To do this you need to go to the Control Panel on your computer and select "Internet Options" then click on "Delete Files" and "Delete Cookies" in the middle section "Temporary Internet Files", and remember to tick the "Delete all offline content".
If you have followed all the above instructions and you are still having problems loading rooms, please read the Technical Problems FAQs.
You can rate each room once per day.
When in a guest room, just click the thumbs up or thumbs down sign at the bottom of your screen.
No. The room ratings feature cannot be turned on or off.
You can rate guest rooms in the hotel and view ratings for other Habbos' rooms. Room ratings can be used to recommend highly-rated rooms to other users.
Only the room owner can give out room rights. When your Habbo character is in one of your OWN rooms, you can click on other Habbos in that room and you will see a 'give rights' button appear under their name on the bottom right hand side of the Habbo window. If you click that button the Habbo will have rights in your room. They will then be able to move furni, open hatches, kick other users and delete writing on stickies.
Rights are what allow another Habbo to move furni in your room, open hatches, kick other Habbos and delete what it says on your stickies.
You should ONLY give rights to Habbos you trust. Nasty Habbos might put your furni in the walls, delete the writing on your stickies and kick all your friends, so be careful who you trust!
If you want to delete your room, you need to go to Hotel Navigator and under 'Guest Rooms' select 'Own Rooms'. Click on the name of the room you want to delete and then at the bottom of the navigator. Click on Modify. At the bottom of that page, select Delete and follow the instructions from there.
NOTE: Make sure you have picked up all the furni that you want to keep or it will be deleted too. Once furni has been deleted there is NO way to get it back, the Office Staff cannot return furni if it has been deleted.
1. If you are in one of your OWN rooms you can click on any Habbo that has rights and under their name on the bottom right hand side of the screen you will see the 'remove rights' button, if you click on this it will remove their room rights.
2. To remove rights from EVERYONE in the room you need to go to Hotel Navigator and under 'Guest Rooms' select 'Own Rooms'. Click on the name of the room you want to remove everyone's rights from and then at the bottom of the navigator. click on modify. At the bottom of that page, select reset and follow the instructions from there.
If you make a room and call it something that breaks The Habbo Way then a Moderator will change the name of your room, and might even ban your account from the site.
Room names should be non-offensive, not break the Habbo Way or avoid the bobba filter in any way.
Some of the furniture and clothing you see is being tested and is not available yet. This is because we want to make sure that everything we sell is of the highest quality. The catalogue is updated regularly, so keep an eye out!
There are other reasons too. Some clothes and furni are only available to Habbos that are members of Habbo Club.
See the Habbo Club page for details of how to become a member. Other furniture that can't be found in the Catalogue might be a Rare item. Rares are items that were sold in the Catalogue for only two weeks so there are less of them in the hotel.
The Habbo Way applies in all rooms in the hotel, but you should treat the guest rooms like someone else's home.
You need to go to a Room-O-Matic to get your own room. Click on the Hotel Navigator, open your Own Room(s) and Create Own Room.
Just follow the instructions that pop up. All rooms are free at Habbo Hotel.
Each guest room has a 50 stickie limit, and if you have pictures and photos on the wall then these will be counted as one stickie each. For example: You have 10 photos on the wall, you will only be allowed to place 40 stickies.
TIP: The 50 limit only applies to stickies, if you want to put pictures and photos up as well as stickies then put them up after the stickies. If you do it this way you can have 50 stickies then as many pictures and photos as you like.
If you want to put a password or doorbell on your room, you need to go to Hotel Navigator and under 'Guest Rooms' select 'Own Rooms'. Click on the name of the room you want to change and then at the bottom of the navigator. Click on modify. You will then see some 'check boxes' halfway down the pop-up window, select the option you require. If you are adding a password to your room then it has to be at least 3 letters long.
Because it's stuck down! Once you paint the walls or floor of a room, it's there for good.
If you are thinking about making a new room, don't delete the room and lose the wallpaper and floor - just rename it. Then you can re-design it too if you like.
To get yourself out of the maze room, click on the Hotel Navigator and go to Hotel View.
This function has been added so that you can browse the room navigator without seeing rooms that are full and therefore impossible to enter. This function can be toggled between “show full rooms” and “hide full rooms” simply by clicking the text located in the top right of the room navigator.
The 'island' in the middle of one of the new large guest rooms can only be reached by using a pair of linking teleporters.
No. Your furniture is very flexible and is able to change its size depending on where it’s put. If only furniture in real life was that simple. I’m still trying to fit my gigantic wardrobe up the stairs…
Each item of Habbo furniture is made up many different “sprites”. Small scale guest rooms are only able to hold a certain number of sprites. When your room is full of sprites, you can’t place any more furniture down.
If you are doing this, it means you are taking rights away from everyone you have given them to. If you want to give rights back to some Habbos, you will have to do this individually.
To reset the rights in your room, click 'modify' in the Navigator (in the 'Own rooms' view, click the room you want to reset rights in and then "modify" button) and click the 'reset button within that window'.
The doorbell can only be answered by the room owner, or users with rights.
When someone rings the doorbell to a room, a pop up window appears. If more than one person rings the bell then you can scroll thought them by clicking the left and right arrows. If you click 'ok', then it will only open the door for the person whose name is displayed above the 'ok'. Cancel works in the same way, clicking 'cancel' only rejects the person whose name you can see when you click it.
To reject everyone simply close the pop-up by clicking the 'x' in the corner.
We're sorry that this unfortunate incident has happened to you. However, we're unable to retrieve a deleted room and its deleted furni. Please do be careful in future when deleting a room.
You essentially play in the private rooms at your own risk. We would not be able to force the game owner to give you the prize.
Please exercise care and caution when you choose to play games in guest rooms. Before entering a game, monitor the game owner if prizes are being given out and read the game rules in the stickies.
